On Tuesday, 19 July 2022, the Portuguese Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Amb. Ana Filomena Rocha paid a courtesy visit to the new Go Blue Kenya project offices in Nyali, Mombasa. The main purpose of the visit was to sign Go Blue- Tourism and Cultural Heritage component Lamu, Kwale and Taita-Taiveta county government Memorandums of Understanding and meet Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani (JKP) Secretariat team and the Go Blue Kenya project’s implementing partners. 
Accompanying Amb. Rocha was Mrs. Denise Pereira, the Honorary Consul of Portugal in Mombasa and Mr. Charles Nyaga from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). She was received by the JKP team leader Mr. Emmanuel Nzai and the Go Blue Kenya Project Implementing Partners’ representatives, including; Martina Bolognesi (AICS-Italy); Paula Oliveira (Camoes); Mohammed Ahmed (UNEP/UNHabitat); Mikael Delrue and Antony Mbebe (EF); Faith Odero (GIZ); Harry Mwailengo and Queen Irine Liwali (Camões IP - IPAV); Daniel Muoki (Camões/STTA - Technical Assistance). Also present were key stakeholders led by Ms. Lisa Kibutu (KCTA).
